We Do not currently have any Regular teaching positions available…

…however, things often change unexpectedly in the field of early childhood, and so we are always accepting resumes in case we end up with a last minute, unexpected opening on our team. We also occasionally have extra hours to fill in the summer months when some of our teachers take time off. If part time summer hours fit your employment needs, or if you would like to be on our teacher outreach list to be contacted when the next position opens up, we’d love to hear from you!

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN A TEACHER…
…a candidate who is a collaborative team player, filled with joy and initiative, is open-minded and a life-long-learner - bonus points for having experience with, or foundational understanding of the Reggio Emilia Approach. While education and experience are of course important to us, we are primarily seeking a teacher who loves the work of early childhood, who can comfortably navigate the busyness of the classroom setting, and who is patient, warm and nurturing by nature.

Please browse our website before applying, and familiarize yourself with our About Us page to learn about our play-centered program, child-led teaching philosophy, and our team to ensure our approach aligns with yours. If this all sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you, so please send your resume to josephine@westendvillageschool.com!
